Zentangles

An interesting link for looking at Automatism in Surrealism.

Thanks to Mrs Martin from Girls' College for drawing it to my attention!
This doodle activity was very popular during the 60's when I was a teenager - and we used to add colour to each and every bit. It was a meditative experience - better than magic mushrooms, and much healthier. Also quite similar to Dali's method using 'critical paranoia'.
