Look at the above image, then try out some of the textures on scraps of paper. (Hint: read the list of materials above)
Try making some of these pens (make your own!)....

- Glue these scraps to a poster.
- Explain how you made them in words.
- Write down what they represent in the drawing.
- Now write a paragraph on van Gogh's use of texture. (Include the name of the drawing and the date) (How long is a paragraph???? ..... about 60 words to 1/2 page)
