Tips:
You should use graphite (‘pencils’)
Start with a light soft layout – no hard outlines!
Assess tones accurately.

Activity Two: 25 marks
Carefully observe the photo you have been given.
Now do a dramatic rendering of this image using a coloured medium (or mixed media) of your own choice.
Consider the ‘figure’ and the ‘ground’, but change the colour of the ground to contrast with the figure. This implies that you may need to strengthen or change the actual colours for dramatic effect.
